We analyze the tradition of Usui, in Japan
In the history of Reiki, we have a great void
in the years from 1940 back to the early 1900s, around the country
since the 1940s onwards there were many schools of Reiki.
The thing that particularly strikes, is that many Eastern disciplines
to be accepted, must first be exported to the West, returning to the
country of origin.
Certainly the inclusion of the discipline Usui in Japan, is attributed
to a teacher, Radiance Technique, which reported a method of Reiki,
at home, in 1984.
Quest'insegnante, held courses in reiki, the first and second level
in many Japanese cities, also published articles on Reiki in various
magazines and newspapers in tongues.
Even then, there was talk in Japan of the difference in teaching discipline
Usui, transferred from the West. Mrs. Takata did not teach the master
level of Reiki in Japan, so his students, after completing the first
and second level, ended the training with other teachers.
In Japan itself, Western Reiki, depopulated, and the tradition was
more than this.
Currently in Japan, there are a number of western schools, including
the most important, is that of Tokyo, headed by Mochizuki, author
of several books, which in the past, attended several classes with
Mr. Takanashi.
The real reason why Dr. Hayashi, separated by Dr. Usui, and respected by Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai, nobody really knows. But some assumptions lead to this separation only after the death of the Japanese master, so in reality nothing happened until it was alive.
The school of Dr. Hayashi, seems to have more
supporters of the school's original Usui, the wife, after her husband
died, she was the one who took the helm of the school's official teacher
of Reiki.
During the war, reiki practitioners, must continually move around
to avoid suspicions that they might give to belong to a peace movement,
which meant definitely running for immediate death.
This undoubtedly led to the birth of many groups reiki, minor, which
does not permit entry to anyone. Therefore the development during
the war was weak, indeed, during the war, many of these groups ceased
altogether.
Then there was the birth of a series of seven, three of which belonged to former pupils of the schools official Usui.
The main difference between the two schools, is mainly in the fact
that in the West, it places great emphasis on lineage, while in Japan
it asks for a favor.
So even a good lineage, is not sure of a good teacher.
